ABOUT THE NATURO SUPERDOG AWARDS JUDGES
Michaela Strachan is an animal-loving nature expert extraordinaire. From the Iconic Really Wild Show through to presenting Autumn Watch and Spring Watch, Michaela is beloved in the UK and around the world. Warm-hearted and professional, we are thrilled to have her on the judging panel.
Matt Johnson has a huge passion for dogs, not least of all for his adorable pug, Alan Shearer. He is also a powerful advocate for mental health and with so many dogs nominated for helping their humans through mental health challenges, Matt brings empathy and understanding to his role as a Naturo SuperDog Awards judge.
Meg Mathews leverages her celebrity for good. Most recently the fabulous fashionista is focused on promoting women’s health but she has always been passionate about dogs. She is recognised for her activism campaigning for animal rights and supports those who work tirelessly to improve the lives of dogs at risk.
Animal behaviourist and TV personality Leon Towers brings an experts point of view as does PC Dave Wardell. His famous dog Fabulous Finn is the very brave (now retired) police dog who survived a brutal attack and has since helped change the law to better protect service animals in the UK.
Last but certainly not least, Maggie the Wunderdog and her owner Kasey Carlin join the panel bringing a survivors perspective. Maggie has overcome untold suffering, demonstrating extraordinary resilience. She is an inspiration to live a full and joyful life.
Our panel of judges are remarkable as individuals and as a collective and we’re grateful to them for their service to our dog-loving community and the nominees of this years Naturo Superdog Awards.
