Worker Nominee

Peggy is a ten-year-old Border Collie who was taken into the RSPCA because she lost her hearing and could no longer work. It was just before Christmas and the kennels were full so Chloe Shorten, who works at the charity, and her husband Jason, who is a shepherd decided to adopt her. Now Peggy is in the news because the couple taught her sign language. Now, though she is semi-retired, Peggy is confident enough to be able to sometimes join the other dogs at work helping Jason herd sheep. She’s amazing and proof that old dogs can learn new tricks. I hope Peggy wins a SuperDog Award
