I got Trevor aged around 6 months as unwanted by his current owners. He was was unsocialised, malnourished and unwell. He went from sick, sorry and hiding and won us up the grades in agility, retiring due to injury with winnings towards grade 5. Trevor also learnt lots of tricks (he loves retrieving) and dabbled with obedience and rally. Trevor became a care (therapy) dog with Canine Concern ND made many happy visits to our 3 local Mencap homes as well as old peoples homes
Trev loves any form of scent work, so this year, with him approaching his 11th birthday, I changed his target scent to cat. His first tasking saw him finding strapped and injured juvenile cat within seconds. It took longer for the cats owners to free him. He saved a life that day.
