Annie and Button are a team.
After discovering and coping with Button’s Elbow and Hip Dysplasia this dynamic duo started a campaign to raise awareness of hereditary diseases in dogs called: What’s in My Genes? The campaign encourages anyone thinking of buying a puppy to ask to see the hereditary health certificates for the parent dogs. It also encourages anyone thinking of breeding their dogs to have hereditary health checks done for that particular breed. To raise awareness of Elbow and Hip Dysplasia Annie and Button attend shows and do media interviews. Annie has produced educational infographics and runs a nationwide poster competition from 1st Aug to 31st Oct 2021.
