Monty has always helped me cope with my episodes of deep depression due to my being bi-polar, but since the death from Covid in May 2020 of my beloved husband, he has barely left my side for a moment. He knows how much I’m still grieving, and he’s doing everything he knows how – like playing the fool to make me laugh, or snuggling into my neck when I go to bed and just cry – to keep me going. I actually believe I owe my life to him, as the thought of betraying his love and trust has kept me from suicide on more than one occasion.
