Charlie is called Dr Charlie when anyone is ill as he doesn’t leave their side, and tries to ‘mend’ them with kisses. If we see a wheelchair user in the park, Charlie makes a beeline for them and would be on their knee if at all possible! He’s our grandchildren’s guard-dog too – no-one gets near them if Charlie is there.
