River
River deserves a nomination because at the age of nine, she was found abandoned walking in a country lane with her staffie pal Missy. River spent over 2 months in kennels where she became timid, withdrawn and reactive to other dogs. Since we have adopted River we have discovered a good-natured, gentle, loving girl who loves cuddles, walks and curling up in her comfy bed. She has brought so much joy to our lives and definitely deserves a nomination.
