Maxes owner, Kerry, had a serious road traffic accident and suffered serious pain leading to depression, making him unable to leave the house. His wife encouraged him to go for a bottle of milk and Kerry met Max. This started a friendship that encouraged Kerry to go out and walk Max. He eventually adopted him and has never looked back. His walks in the Lake District being are on FB, have helped countless others, especially in the last year.
