Bear
Bear was rescued from a kill shelter in Romania. He was in terrible shape and close to death. He had only ever lived on the streets or in the kill shelter and yet he is a wonderful, loyal and loving dog who has successfully become a beloved pet dog. He lives with another rescue dog and 3 rescue cats and is a true example of a courageous survivor. When he first came to live with me he was too scared to walk on the lead. When he eventually overcame this and we started going to the park, he would run off and go missing for hours at a time. He had no understanding of “belonging” and being part of a family. With work, love and encouragement this has all changed and Bear is much more secure. He rarely leaves my side and loves his doggy sister. I feel so privileged to have him in my life.
