My 9-year-old daughter struggles massively with anxiety, stress and panic. We purchased Freddy for her during the Covid pandemic as she found being off school very traumatic. Freddy arrived in January and has been by her side ever since. Even as a very young dog, he understands when she is upset, angry or worried and will sit with her, put his head on her lap and comfort her. She has found this a huge safety blanket and now is dealing with changes and tricky situations with confidence and valour. We are hoping to put him through the assessment as a therapy dog as soon as he is old enough and in the meantime, we nominate him for a SuperDog Companion Award.
