We just lost Winston suddenly this week, but he brought a light to our lives that was completely indescribable. He came into our lives at a time when we were told we would struggle to conceive children and he filled a gap like no other dog could. He was my best friend but he was my partner Sophies’ soulmate. We couldn’t have asked for a better companion, we’ll miss him forever. I know an award like this was probably intended for a dog that’s still here, but Winston was an irreplaceable companion, and what he brought to our lives stays with us as if he’s still here now, so to us he’s a companion forever.
