Scooby is a 7-year-old life-saving SuperDog that not only saves the life of his owner daily, he is also the inspiration behind the founding of an assistance dog charity. Because of his legacy, the charity has already saved the lives of over forty people! Scooby is a Diabetic alert dog and when his child owner’s blood sugar levels drop too low or rise too high, SuperDog Scooby raises the alarm to get her to safety.
He has done over 24,000 alerts and has prevented her from going into hospital 24,000 times! Scooby now heads a National UK assistance dog charity, Hypo Hounds, that without him would not have started. Scooby is nominated for a SuperDog Award because he deserves to be recognized as a life-saver.
