Flora went into heart failure at 17 weeks with undiagnosed pda and mitral valve dysplasia. It took 3 days in ICU at the vet to stabilise her before they could risk operating on pda. They weren’t sure if she would survive an anaesthetic. She is home, happy, loving, kind and amazing 7-month-old springer on heart tablets and diuretics for life. We have no idea how long she will have but every day with her is such a blessing. That’s why I’m nominating her for a SuperDog Survivor Award.
