Teddy

My son Reid has autism and ADHD and finds being in public spaces difficult. But our 2-year-old Labrador, Teddy, well, she has supported Reid and has given him the confidence to go into town. Sometimes Reid gets overwhelmed and can lie on the floor and Reid lies with him and she just sticks to him like glue and comforts him. We take her everywhere with us and most shops are dog friendly nowadays, which is great. Reid and Teddy run and play together every day. Teddy is very much Reid’s partner in crime. We just wish Reid’s school would allow her in and then his life would be perfect. She really has helped him overcome hurdles and that is why we are nominating Teddy for a SuperDog Carer Award.
