Eddie came into our lives in November 2020. He has been the best thing that ever happened for all of us, but particularly our oldest son Nathan who is severely disabled and non verbal. Nath has always been nervous of dogs but he very quickly learnt to trust Eddie. Eddie makes him laugh every day, gives so much affection and is fiercely protective of him. He always puts himself between Nathan in his wheelchair and any stranger that approaches to talk to us. On one occasion an aggressive dog approached Nathan when he was sitting on a bench, Nathan was visibly scared, Eddie rushed over and jumped up onto Nathan lap and barked down at the other dog scaring it off. The two of them have such a special bond, they really are best friends!
