Patch
Patch was born with microphthalmia which means his eyes are small, he is blind, has a grade 4 heart murmur and is epileptic. Patch nearly died last year having his eye removed and had to have a tracheostomy. I suffer from PTSD and really bad anxiety. Patch knows when I’m down. He will come and kiss me, he smiles then puts his paws around me. I wouldn’t be here today if I didn’t have Patch. He has saved my life so many times. He has helped me cope with the loss of my dad and through my treatment. I have a brain tumour and suffer from fits. Patch alerts me when I’m about to have a seizure and stays with me. He lays next to me and puts his head on me till I’m better. Patch also helps me cope with the abuse I suffered. I’m nominating Patch because he is my hero.
