Frenchie
Frenchie is our 7-month-old French bulldog. She may be a young pup, but since the day she came into our lives, she has been one amazing puppy.
Our 3-year-old son has recently been referred for Autism as he is on the spectrum. Unfortunately, this means he struggles to distinguish emotions and overloads with the senses. We got Frenchie as we always wanted a dog to complete our family, and also our son adores animals. It’s not surprising that they are the best of friends. Frenchie has had no training in regards to being a therapy dog, however when Eli has a sensory overload she will be by his side and makes sure he’s okay. This little puppy has brought nothing but joy to our lives and helped us cope with the difficulties that come with an autistic child. I cannot imagine life without her and we are blessed to have her in our lives. She makes the harder days easier to cope with.
She deserves this SuperDog Companion Award purely for having such a wonderful loving and nurturing personality.
