Yogi is nominated for a Naturo SuperDog Award because they help Autistic children and adults when they struggle with poor quality of sleep, restlessness, insomnia, or significant fatigue. And helps to improve motor skills and social skills too. An Autism Assistance Dog is trained to sleep on the bed and provide Deep Pressure Therapy when needed. This helps the child to feel grounded, safe, secure, and relaxed. Incorporated into the child’s morning and evening routines Yogi is a carer of epic proportions.
