I lost a dog a few years ago. Then last year, on May 24th, I got my dog Bella. She was a little thing who changed my life for good. The bond I have with her is like no other bond I have ever had with a dog. She lifted my spirits and changed my mood from being down and upset to happy and laughing again. I suffer from depression and I was in a bad way till I got Bella. She got me smiling and laughing, and gave me something to live for. I have had Bella now for over a year and our bond is still as strong as when I first got her. She’s my hero. She stays by my side. I wouldn’t be the person I am now if I hadn’t got her and I wouldn’t change anything about her. I’m nominating Bella for a SuperDog Companion Award because she’s my rock, my world, my everything.
