Dr Amit Patel is from London and has been instrumental in shining a light on the discrimination faced by people with visual impairments. He fitted a camera to his guide dog Kika, who is also nominated for a SuperDog Award, and by sharing the recordings of their challenges navigating the city on social media and through his many media appearances, Dr Patel has made the public much more aware of the issues facing the visually impaired in the UK. He is most deserving of a SuperDog Campaigner Award.
