I rescued Ruby from a friend who got way too silly and ended up with 6 dogs in the home. Ruby was pushed to the bottom of the pile and became sad and lonely. I had recently lost my dog whom I’d had from 2 weeks old. She was 13 years when she passed and we were in need of a doggy in our home to lift everyone so I took Ruby in. I have two Autistic children so Ruby made a huge difference in their lives. She arrived at 10 pm on a Friday night after travelling 400 miles over the day and she is now a much loved member of our family.
