Dolly
Dolly is a Romanian rescue dog and she came to me on Good Friday this year. I have MS and needed a companion and something to encourage me to go out. Dolly settled in immediately and soon became one of the family. When I allowed her off lead in a safe place, she stayed by us and came back as soon as I called her. She is quiet, but gets really excited when we are going out and loves the car too. Everyone loves her and she is just the right size for me so I can bend down to her, give her treats from my wheelchair and pick her up and put her in the sink when she needs a cleanup. She has improved my life so much, I really struggled through the winter lockdown and looking forward to her coming kept me going. Even the hubby seems to have fallen for her, as he wasn’t overly keen, but who couldn’t love this lovely lady even if she has some teeth missing.
