Doris
Doris is my disability assistance dog, not a roll leonbergers are commonly known for, she empties the washing machine, picks up the post and any dropped items and helps me undress too. Being a disabled veteran with mental health issues, she also gives me the confidence to go out alone, knowing that whatever happens I will be fine with Doris. She is also a therapy dog and we have visited other veterans while they havebeen in hospital and she always lifts the mood and brings a smile into their day. She has been a canine blood donor and has given 8 pints, she also comes with me whenever I am out fund raising for different military charities, she has jackets for all them all too.
